On September 21, on the forecourt of Paris City Hall (4th arrondissement), the event opens to the general public for the first time: 150 Parisians will step into the shoes of a waiter by carrying a tray holding a glass of water, a coffee, and a croissant.
A challenge of balance and endurance, echoing the daily reality of a profession that is often precarious and carried out under demanding working conditions. Beyond the playful and athletic side, this opening aims to highlight the expertise of waiters and to shed light on the realities of a trade that is emblematic of the Parisian art of living.
